Android TV Box

November 1, 2011

Android Player TV BoxConnect to the internet through Wi-Fi; browse the internet, watch online video. Flexible and intuitive; allow the users to install and uninstall the apps from the Android market place to meet their individual needs. Your Android TV can be controlled by remote control as well as wired or wireless keyboard and mouse. It is convenient, fast and easy to  use. I connected mine with a bluetooth mouse. It works… I surfed the internet websites that requires flash, I played Angry Bird, I watched a full movie using the PPS app yesterday night on my 42″ Sony Bravia. Cheaper than buying a smart TV, a tablet, a smartphone or a netbook, I got mine for SGD230. Does Android market have the smurf village app?

Mypressi Twist

April 30, 2009

“The mypressi TWIST is a portable espresso machine. It produces quality espresso while giving espresso lovers convenience and portability. The TWIST’s unique pneumatic engine also ensures you can enjoy incredible coffee even where there is no external power. Just add hot water… ”

The portable espresso maker is powered by using a pressurize cylinder to power the shot with constant pressure all the way through the extraction cycle. It uses fresh espresso or an ESE pod in the holder, add water, and pull the shot. The CO2 cartridge does the rest, offering a 9-bar pressure across the entire shot. Each cartridge lasts for about 8 shots of espresso.
For something more manual try Handpresso. So which is better?

This lunch box has a retro colour and the lid of the box is shaped to keep a reusable bottle in place, under an elastic strap. The ‘stacked’ design is made from BPA-free and phthalate-free polypropylene and safety tested for lead. The lunch box and containers are dishwasher safe and the containers are microwave safe.
I like the bottle.

Canon has announced two new portable digital photo printers in their Selphy range, the ES3 and the cheaper ES30 which re-interpretes digital photo printing again.  Each has a built-in 15-in-1 memory card reader, are PictBridge compatible, use integrated ink & paper cartridges and have an LCD preview screen: 3.5-inches with wide-angle viewing on the ES3, 3-inches on the ES30.  The ES3 also gains 1GB of onboard storage, to allow regularly accessed images to be kept on the printer itself.

Both printers have a range of frame, clip-art and calendar templates that can be added on-device to images before printing. The AC adapter is built into the body of the printer so a simple power cable is all that’s required.

Sony Rolly

September 6, 2008

Rolly is an egg-shaped digital robotic music player made by Sony, combining music functions with robotic dancing. It has several motors that allow it to rotate and spin, as well as two bands of LED lights running around its edge and cup-like “arms” which can open and close on either end, all of which can be synchronized to the music being played.

Sound-sensitivity components detect beat, rhythm, voice and pitch, which can be used to have the device automatically react to music. It also has an accelerometer which detects if the player is moving up or down. Preprogammed movements along with music can be downloaded from personal computers using Bluetooth. It has 2Gb of flash memory to store music files.
