Lotus Furniture Set as its name implies, blossoms like a lotus flower, so it opens like a big hug to welcome the user.
The Lotus has lighting on the upper surface of the table and chairs, so when displaced each chair activates the lighting.

Out-In High Easychair

High easychair by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet.  Monobloc in polyethylene with anodised aluminium tubular elements in silver, white or black anthracite colour or metalized silver grey painted. The chair is oversized, becoming a cocoon that envelopes the person sitting on it.

The chair “blooms” on a slim, chrome-metal stem that blossoms with white or delicately-coloured “petals” made of hand-folded fabric squares sewn one by one, to completely cover the internal surface of the egg-shaped, wrap-around shell.
