Novelist Koji Suzuki, author of ‘The Ring’ has chosen to print his novel called “Drop” on toilet paper. The thing is seriously being marketed as “Japan’s creepiest toilet paper”

The whole story is printed on toilet paper, takes place in a public restroom, and can be read in a few minutes.
Toilets in Japan were traditionally tucked away in a dark corner of the house due to religious beliefs. Parents would tease children that a hairy hand might pull them down into the dark pool below.

Toilet Paper Wallpaper

November 12, 2008

Toilet paper is one of civilisation’s great invention. Now it has a new function, it can be a functional wallpaper. New design everyday for you to enjoy and not having to worry that it will run out too.
This is actually a 2D wallpaper, but it really inspires me with other ideas.

Shit Box

June 26, 2008

Next time you’re camping, instead of digging a hole, why not infuse a little portability into nature’s call with the Shit Box?
Shit Box is a portable lightweight cardboard toilet. It is rigid, resuable (comes with 10 degradable poo bags in case you start to imagine something unappetising) and fully biodegradable.

Foot Flush®

March 31, 2008

The Foot Flush® is a foot pedal designed to use in your homes bathroom in order to keep away germs and keep your family clean and healthy. It hooks to your toilet flusher and pulls the handle down when you step on the foot pedal, creating a hands-free toilet experience. Our toilets in Singapore or either big push buttons or proximity sensors now. But still a great idea.

Le Scrub and Lil’ Bowl Blu  are “deep cleaning” bathroom products which features a soft blue color to match the products spa inspired eucalyptus mint scent. Le Scrub’s packaging was designed to be highly functional with the top of the bottle serving as a storage place for the included microfiber cleaning pad, designed to eliminate the  problem of tossing a cleaning sponge under the sink after use.
Looks like expensive facial cleansers to me…

Indoor Dog Restroom

January 10, 2008

This mat-and-tray system gives dogs a place to relieve themselves when they can’t get outside for respite. This ingenious system uses a mat made of antimicrobial pourous artificial turf that gives off an organic scent to attract dogs, so they can be taught quickly that it is an acceptable spot for relieving themselves. The mat sits on top of a plastic grate which allows liquid to drain into the included tray for easy clean-up.
I do not know if it really works since the reason why dogs urinate all over the place sometimes is because it is marking it’s territory…
