Good during functions’ tea break…

“Pusher” by swedish design group Form Us With Love for Beefeater’s design challenge. Its suppose to be a gin dispenser in stainless steel tubes. Looks like a good sharing idea… but it doesn’t increase the speed of flow if all taps are open at the same time… but still fun…

“Passive Aggressive Anger Release Machine is an interactive sculpture. Experience the most satisfying feeling when a piece of China breaks into million pieces . All you have to do is insert a coin, and a piece of China will slowly move forwards and fall into the bottom of the machine, breaking, and leaving you happy and relieved of anger.”

But I thought it’s the act of throwing it yourself and releasing your tensed up energy that counts…

Dulux PaintPod

February 21, 2008

Dulux PaintPod is a device that pumps paint directly to a roller attachment. Hit a button and the PaintPod loads its roller with the correct amount of paint. And it even cleans itself up when you’ve finished decorating, taking ten minutes to rinse all the paint out of its system. It does require its own 5-litre paint packs, as they’re formulated to just the right consistency to work with the pumping system.

Soap Bank

February 15, 2008

Getting every last bit of soap from a bar to do its job can be idiotic. This Soap Bank can collect and help you get your money’s worth from the small remains of soap. When your bar gets too small to get a good grip on, just drop it in the slot and give the bag a rub when you need soap. The top lets you keep your soap until it’s small enough to fit in the bank.
Good for the world that still uses solid soap. I know Singapore is seeing less of it nowadays.

Disposable Soles

January 1, 2008

Some people like it barefoot, some like house slippers. For those that fall in the latter check out these Disposable Soles by Jun-Soo Choi.  They come in a stand premade sticky. Just step on it and you’re off. Supposedly it’s a good way of maintaining hygiene and protects your feet. No mention whether it’s a one size fits all type or if its breathable but it is still a wonderful concept.
