Photosynthesis Solar Tree

September 7, 2008

Harnessing solar energy from a Electronic Bonsai tree for the life of our electronics! You can recharge your cellphone and camera with this solar-cell “tree charger.”

The tree is composed of modules which can create infinite shape. I assume the bigger your tree, the more power you will get? Assuming this theory, Then I can power my whole house if I can build a big enough tree… wooot!

iPod docks are a dime a dozen but none are more mobile than Wei-Lieh Lee and Kevin O’Callaghan’s dock-in-a-dog-jacket, which will convert your pet into a walking boombox.

Creative Xdock Wireless

January 13, 2007

If you can’t beat them in their game, then join them. As long as there’s money to make, why not. From Creative comes an iPod accessory…

It takes stereo audio from the docked iPod or Zen and upconverts it through “Xtreme Fidelity” to quality that is better than CD, and be streamed wirelessly to X-Fi wireless receivers. I want to complain again.. why so many parts? and why the bloody ugly remote???

Logitech Alto Laptop Stand

November 2, 2006

This is a one-piece notebook riser with an integrated, full-size keyboard that places the notebook screen level with your eyes. The Alto notebook stand has three built-in USB ports for connecting a variety of peripherals, such as mice, a webcam, an external drive or a printer, to the laptop. Simple, nice curves, clean, looks good and unfortunate. I don’t understand what the space between the keyboard and notebook is for but it takes up precious space. A stationery rack maybe.

A high-performing docking station for notebooks that connects through the notebook’s ExpressCard port, quadrupling available bandwidth so you can run high-quality video—from DVDs, for example—without affecting bandwidth to your other USB 2.0 devices.

The dock itself provides expandable video output through VGA or DVI, 5.1 surround-sound, five USB ports and a 10/100 Ethernet port. USD200.

Looks nice to fondle…
