The Ultra Edition II range consists of two stylish and functional sliders – the Ultra Edition 10.9 (U600) and the Ultra Edition 12.1 (U700), a metallic clamshell – the Ultra Edition 9.6 (U300), and a candy bar handset – the Ultra Edition 5.9 (U100). Each design offers advanced features such as a 3-megapixel camera and camcorder, high-speed internet connectivity, as well as extensive multimedia and audio capabilities.

Ultra Edition 12.1 (U700), manages to pack a wealth of features including 3G and HSDPA into a slider that measure only 12.1mm thick. U700 comes with a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera at the back of the top lid and a front-facing shooter for 3G video calls. There’s also an external microSD card slot and a proprietary port for charging and headset. Sliding up the top lid activates the 2.2-inch LCD as well as the touch-sensitive shortcut and Call/End keys. What’s unique about the U700 is the four-way directional control which doubles as a rotary wheel.

The U600 comes in an attractive misty-blue color that manages to look smart without being too ‘businessy’, screen is surprisingly large, measuring an eye-pleasing 34mm wide by 45mm tall. Beneath the screen are two touch-sensitive soft keys, a mechanical four-way navigation key and touch-sensitive send and end call keys. The 3.2-megapixel camera behind the back section is protected when not in use and comes with autofocus and an LED photo light. Angular edges and sleek lines work to give the U300 an ultramodern look. 3.2-megapixel camera (no photolight, autofocus or dedicated shutter button), 70MB onboard memory. The top blue OLED screen displays the time, date, battery status, signal strength, incoming messages and calls. The U300 also has a non-removable battery.

Slimmest of the lot, the U100 has 3.2-megapixel camera too with 1.93-inch TFT; 220 x 176 pixels LCD screen.
