Locust Folding Bike

January 1, 2007

I have never seen a folding bike that I liked since the day I saw one like maybe 20years ago?… One thing, they always designed one with small wheels… how fast can you go with that, its a waste of time, money and effort.

Locust bicycle concept utilizes a circular frame as the central focus, into which everything folds. The frame allows for the wheels to be a bit larger than in other folding bicycles, and the design also moves away from the traditional pedal-chain system.

The Locust’s belt system features an outer toothing, with the belt pulled along between two rollers that are sent in motion by pedaling. The bike has strange colours but its folded form is sleek and effective for utilizing compact space.
